As far east as you can be and still be on a sidewalk in East Oregon was one of the best places for escaped ornamentals that I knew of in the city, especially on the southern block. Three years in a row, Showy Eveningprimroses (also known as Pinkladies, Pink Evening Primrose and Mexican Evening Primrose despite its native range being north of Mexico) came up in the same general but not exact spot, just a few houses south of where the High Mallow and Spiderflowers kept coming up out of the sidewalks. I have these labeled as being in Whitman in old posts because I thought the area was part of Whitman.
